DESCRIPTION
This presentation will give clear purpose for why instructional designers, instructors, and institutions should consider changing traditional instruction to a Blended Learning approach. In this global age of information, digital literacy and 21st Century Skills have become a major deciding factor in hiring contemporary scholars who are adept at working and living in an age of global information. Get Blended! shares six tools that can easily be used to transform traditional instruction to a blended format, and the pedagogical purpose of applying each of those tools. We will look at applying these tools in terms of Bloom’s Taxonomy, a categorization of learning objectives based on the cognitive domains.
