China is considered a multi-religion country.A survey was took and it showed that 85% of Chinese

people have religious beliefs and only 15% of them are atheists.

185 million people believe in Buddhism.33 million believe in Christianity.12 million people are Taoists – Those who believe in

Taoism believe in a road extending in one direction.

The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest wonders of the world. It is approximately 8,850 kilometres long. Over the past 2000 years the wall has turned to ruins, However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world

The Great Wall is a great tourist attraction and in 2004, there were over 41.8 million foreign visitors to the Great Wall of China.

Terracotta Army

For many tourists visiting the Terracotta Army is a must. The army of terracotta warriors were built to guard Qin Shihuang when he died. Qin Shihuang was the first Chinese emperor.

The soldiers of Terracotta Army were discovered March 24, 1974 by some local farmers when they were digging a well. This is now a world famous attraction site, which is visited by tons of tourists – up to 40,000 people a day.

Li River

Li River is one of Chinas most famous scenic areas, and you can go on a cruise which lasts for 3-4 hours down this beautiful river. The cruise starts off from Zhujiang Wharf and takes you to Yangshuo.

I chose to come vist the Li River as I wanted to vist the more scenic areas of China.

Victoria Peak

Vicrorias Peak is considered one of the world’s most spectacular cityscapes. It is located in Hong Kong, and is one of the most popular attractions. There is also a tram that you can go on so you can witness the beauty of Hong Kong.
