You will be signing on to Schoology on Thursday.

I intend on giving your parents a code so that they have access to your account.

If you do not have internet access at home, please make time to see me.

We will be using technology to enhance learning NOT as a distraction.

It will be made very clear when it is appropriate to use these devices.

If you are not using your device for learning it will be taken away.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a phone, tech. will be made available to you when possible.

Guitars

You are responsible for care and maintenance of the instrument.

Provide your own picks.Have replacement strings with you, if you

do not know how to change your strings, Mrs. Barkhouse will help you.

The school will not provide a guitar for you.

Course Breakdown

70% course work30% final summative evaluationsCourse work will include journals

(Thinking, Communication), theory (Knowledge), performing (Application)

The FSE will include performance and written components

Course work will also include Arts Night. The final exam will be a short

performance and worth about 10% of your mark. The other 20% of your FSE will be completed ahead of the exam date.
