Room 26- Mrs. Knoblauch
Room 46- Mrs. Lentini
Went to Holy Family University
Have been teaching at St. Matt’s for 13 years.
I have always taught 6th grade & I LOVE it!
I come from a large family. I have 3 brothers & 1 sister.I have always wanted to be a teacher.
My favorite subjects are Math, Science, & Social Studies
Some of my favorite things are: traveling, going to the beach, spending time with friends, playing with my niece, reading & listening to music.
My favorite sports are football & baseball.
Some of my pet peeves (things I don’t like) are: disrespect to others (students & those in authority), calling out, not paying attention, not putting effort into your work, & being sloppy. Neatness is important!
Build Christian Character in each individual
Teach you to become responsible and organized individuals
Show that with hard work and effort- anything is possible.
Help you understand and relate to others
Learn to accept consequences for actions
Provide you with the skills you need to be successful in life.
A Christian environment
Fun and educational projects and assignments
A well organized and safe environment for students
You will discover that learning can sometimes be fun as well as beneficial and appreciate its rewards.
You will learn that what they put into their work is what they can expect to get out of it.
The key to a good school year is cooperation.

A Responsibility/Homework grade of 100 will be given for each subject.
Points are deducted as followed:8 points- missing homework/late projects or assignments4 points- incomplete homework2 points- test not signed
Example: Sept. 8,2008- Missing Science Homework- 100-8= 92 Sept. 17,2008- Incomplete Science Homework- 92-4= 88
Infraction LogIf you get an infraction- it MUST be signed that night & the work made up.
A conference with your parents will be set up after 4 infractions.
Chronic infractions may result in a detention.
Infraction Logs must be taped in the back of your homework copybook.
Infractions will count toward your Conduct or Effort grades.
Homework & Test ScheduleYou are responsible for copying your homework
everyday. Homework will be posted on my website, but you should not solely depend on that.
Test schedules are posted on Mondays. It is your responsibility to copy it.
If you get an infraction for homework- you MUST get your log signed & complete the assignment for the next day.
If you forget a book for homework- call someone so you can copy, scan, or write the page you need. “I forgot it .” is not an excuse.
Participation=CooperationTalking, Passing notes, and other inappropriate behaviors during class show a lack of participation and cooperation and will affect the subject grade.
Raising hand in class is strongly encouraged.
If you don’t understand something- ASK! It shows initiative.
Your effort & behavior in class are just as important as your test grades.
Cooperation is important.
