Mrs. Greer• I have been teaching for 5 years
here at Mason Elementary. • This is my second year teaching
5th grade. • I am married. I have three
children and a dog name Sadie.• I love working with children.
My Philosophy of Education•All students are capable of learning.•To keep all students engaged and learning .• All students can be successful in my class.
Attendance Policy• Everyone is expected to be on time for class daily.• Three tardies are considered as an absent. So “watch” your tardies.• If you are absent, it your responsibility to make up any work that you
missed.• In order to be successful in class you MUST attend.• All missed work can be found in the basket on the 2nd shelf of the
bookcase.• All missed work must be turned in 2 days after absent.
Classroom Rules• Come to class prepared• Follow directions first time
given• Raise hand to be recognized• Be Respectful of others• Treat others the way you
would want to be treated
Dress Code• Students are expected to wear the
proper school uniform daily.• Uniform colors are white or red tops
and navy bottoms.• All shirt tails must be tucked in at all
times.• No sagging pants.• Belt must be worn at all times.• No ripped jeans or too short skirts.• Everyone is expected to look like
young men and women at all times.
Morning Work Procedure• Come in quietly.• Have all needed materials upon
entering.• Morning work is listed on the
board daily.• All morning work must be
completed by the 8:00 a.m. bell.• When finish place in blue basket
on the counter.

Homework Policy
• Homework will be given nightly Monday-Thursday.• All homework must be
completed before class.• Must be neat and legible.• No late work will be accepted
unless you are absent.
Re-do Policy• You may re-do a daily grade
paper for a higher grade.• This is only if your score is a 70
or below on the paper. The highest grade you can make is a 85.• It must be corrected and
returned the next day, if not the first grade will count.
