Year 1- Motivate !

-Structuring of Professors in regard to their ability to motivate.

-Making the students’ society ( EESS) more inclusive and more active : Should include SCC, Cognizance organising team as well.

-Open the field for more exploration.-Website needs to be revived.

Year 2: Working Hard

-Compulsory Course projects.-Create a pool by floating 4-5 projects in every stream.

Make a team consisting of a professor, 1-2 scholars, lab assisstant responsible for executing these projects.Let 3/4 students involve in each of them for a fixed duration.

● -Integrate this system with upgraded labs, more interaction with research scholars, and easy issue of components. It becomes really tedious to find professors+ departmental store wala+ lab in charge wala + Phd wala.

● -Bringing coherency in Lab and theory classes. ● -Updating the course structure with industrial

requirements. ● -Basic courses in wireless communications,

computer architecture.

Conditioning the Wings

● -More number of projects should be floated in summer, other than SURA.

● -These projects can be an extrapolation of the basic projects done during the 2nd year.

● -Dependency on students coming with path breaking ideas have to be decreased, better to provide them with challenges.

Year 3: Setting the wings to fly

● -More usable industrial tie ups.● -More research opportunities.● -Better alumni network.● -Technical Communication is not helping.

Experts, preferably alumni should guide us. Better to organize 3-4 workshops than a course.

Year 4 : Game Over

-B.Tech Projects cannot succeed until students show dedication from their side.

Page 14: Feedback Presentation by B.Tech EE 2015, IIT Roorkee

For providing the guidance in BTP, the professors need to come up with good research/engineering problemsand then its upon students to work dedicatedly and with all their will.
