DESCRIPTION

Are you new to Fort Riley? Want to get to know what is happening on the installation and local communities? Come to the next Victory Welcome/Fort Riley Network Meeting. There will be booths available to meet members from local agencies and organizations as well as your units Family Readiness Support Assistant. Prizes are given away along with valuable information on upcoming events throughout the Fort Riley area. Great opportunity to meet new people and make new friendships! 12:45-1:20 p.m. - Booths, 1:30-2:20 p.m. - Network, 2:30 p.m. - until complete - Victory Welcome. Meeting is held the last Thursday of each month at Riley’s Conference Center, 446 Seitz Drive on Main Post. Information on future Victory Welcome/Fort Riley Network events will be published through MWR and unit information channels.

• Soldiers will be given the opportunity to help inventory and distribute food to low income families.

• BOSS will provide 10 lames, shoes, 2 topping pizza and 2 pitchers of soda

• Free for Single Soldiers

– BOSS Ski Trip – Keystone APR 4th – 7th • Location: Keystone, Colorado

• Cost: $425 per Soldier

– BOSS BBQ (4IBCT) APR 12th • Location: 4th BDE footprint

• Soldiers get a nice “Welcome Back” from JRTC with free food, fun, and games.

• FamilyMOVE! is the first such comprehensive weight loss program in the Army and focuses on coaching and reinforcing lifestyle and behavioral changes which improve the chances for long-term weight loss success.

• To qualify for the surgical option, military dependents must be from 20 to 60 years of age with BMIs (body mass index) between 40 and 50

• Active-duty Soldiers are not permitted to undergo weight loss surgery.
