The Different Types of Animals are:

1.Vertibrates are animal with backbone: an animal with a segmented spinal column and a well-developed brain, e.g. a mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, or fish

Vertibrates

An animal lacking a backbone, such as an arthropod, mollusk, annelid, coelenterate, etc. The invertebrates constitute an artificial division of the animal kingdom, comprising 95 percent of animal species and about 30 different phyla

Invertibrates

A warm-blooded egg-laying vertebrate distinguished by the possession of feathers, wings, and a beak and (typically) by being able to fly

Birds

A limbless cold-blooded vertebrate animal with gills and fins and living wholly in water

Fishes

A cold-blooded vertebrate of a class that includes snakes, lizards, crocodiles, turtles, and tortoises. They are distinguished by having a dry scaly skin, and typically laying soft-shelled eggs on land

Reptiles

A cold-blooded vertebrate animal of a class that comprises the frogs, toads, newts, and salamanders. They are distinguished by having an aquatic gill-breathing larval stage followed (typically) by a terrestrial lung-breathing adult stage

Amphibians

An animal that feeds on flesh of its own species

Cannibals

An invertebrate animal of the large phylum Arthropoda, such as an insect, spider, or crustacean

Arthropods

An animal that feeds on plants and nothing but plants sort of like vegetarians.

Herbivores

An animal that feeds on dead organic material, esp. plant detritus

Detritivores

An animal that feeds on carrion, dead plant material, or refuse
