TOPIC:

GNP means the total of all business production and service sector industry in a country plus its gain on overseas investment.

GNP calculates the total income of all the nationals of a country.

Gross National Product can also be calculated on a per capita basis to demonstrate the consumer buying power of an individual from a particular country, and an estimate of average wealth, wages, and ownership distribution in a society.

EDUCATION RELATIONSHIP TO GNPEducation is main source of human capital

accumulation that in turn have direct and positive

effects of individuals of life time earning.

Public expenditure on education remained less than

2% of GNP before 1984/84.In recent years it as

increased to 2.2%.

Education is central development strategy of an

economy. As the result of all the government efforts

educational indicators are reflecting positive

outcomes

DEPENDENCY BURDENBurden of dependency is

term used to describe the

proportion of people working

and paying taxes in

proportion to those who are

not in employment

Taxes people pay must

provide the services for

those who are not employed.

DEPENDENCY BURDEN RELATIONSHIP TO GNP

Dependency burden ratio in Pakistan was

measured at 64.39 in 2011.According to the

world bank.

Dependency Burden is directly related to

the economy of country.

It has been estimated that high

dependency rate adversely affect national

saving rates.

BIRTH RATEIt is the demographic

measure of the rate at

which children are born.

The number of births

that occur each year per

1,000 people in the

midyear population is

“crude”.

Age adjusted birth rates

are preferred for making

comparisons, either over

time or between

populations.

BIRTH RATE RELATIONSHIP TO GNP

Would be a negative relationship.

It is a factor that decreases birth rates in a

country.
