Directors also decide the camera angles, the lens effects and the lighting. This controls what the audiences cinematic experience.

Directors have to be responsible for organizing the location and the actors for the film to ensure the film will run smoothing. You have to reserve the cameras to make sure that everything is ready to start the filming as soon as possible.

We need to make sure that everybody knows the plot and that the script is ready for the actors to read as soon as they can.

Camera Operator The camera operator has the role of reading the scripts and relating shots to that script. They also

need to look at the different locations to be shot in to ensure the lighting is correct and if it is physically possible to get all the equipment in that space. Its their job to set up shots with the director. They are to review set plans for filming. They have to make sure they have a all new equipment and if they are tracking , they will need to make sure they have the vehicle to track

with.

Editor

The job of an editor is to finish the key product to the highest of standards possible. This would mean using a lot of equipment and technology like motion 5 and final cut pro. They have to be able to cut and manage the filming properly and keep their mind to the best looking footage. They are to ensure they are to work close to the director as much as they can so that they have a very clear understanding of what is being expected from the film. Their job is to fit sounds to the footage and storing them on the computer in files. They are to make sure the film runs smoothly because it may ruin the run of the film. Whilst editing it is a very long process as you have to go through every shot and pick out the best that fits each moment in the film. Also if the film is to long the editor would have to make sure parts of the film are shortened or even cut out to make sure the

audience don’t feel bored at any point throughout the film.
