Concept of Learning Knowledge and Wisdom

INTRODUCTION• The purpose of this paper is to

understand what Wisdom means, why we need it, and how it can be developed and enacted within organizations. I begin by describing the Knowledge Trap, a self-feeding loop between knowledge and destructive change that threatens our existence. Then, to better define the different issues, I introduce he Epistemological Pyramid, which separates four levels of knowledge: Data, Information, Knowledge, and Wisdom. Within this framework, Wisdom is positioned as the highest level, focused on integration and sense-making.
