CompTIA’s vendor-neutral certifications ensure your employees have foundation-level knowledge and skills to perform in IT job roles. CompTIA certifications are developed with the support of IT industry-leading companies and organizations and validated by field experts around the world. Three CompTIA certifications fulfill the U.S. Department of Defense’s Directive 8570.1: CompTIA A+ ® , Network+ ® and Security+™. CompTIA is currently completing ISO/IEC Standard 17024 accreditation for these certifications. In recent CompTIA research*, four out of five organizations indicated that training has improved IT security, by increasing awareness, boosting abilities at identifying potential risks, improving security measures and increasing staff response time. Security content was recently expanded in CompTIA A+ and added to CompTIA Network+ to prepare workers with the knowledge and skills to keep your networks safe from security threats. CompTIA Security+, while remaining a foundation-level certification, covers security knowledge at a level appropriate for a network or security administrator. These certifications are the IT industry standard for measuring competencies and ensuring the workforce has the skills to perform with efficiency. CompTIA certifications: – Simplify recruiting and hiring – Increase productivity – Increase employee retention – Reduce downtime CompTIA certifications also serve as the building blocks for more advanced certifications and, in many cases, are accepted as pre-requisites or electives for higher-level certifications such as MCSA, Novell’s CNE (Netware5), ISACA and more.
