Goals

Currently an intern with the Saginaw Spirit Hockey club, and since I’m graduating in 2015, I hope they keep me on for next season as well.

Develop my current skills as well as learn new skills to help me advance in the sports business world.

Continue to improve in my current job, in order to prosper once I graduate.

Eventually, I would like to work for a large sports organization in a major market that’s involved in one of the four major sports leagues in the United States.

Letters of Recommendation

I have known Mr. Rico for a few years now, as he was a subordinate of mine at a retail store I used to manage a short few years back. I have been in management for 13 years, and within that time, upper management for 8 years. I have worked from small communities to small cities, and with teenage kids, to adults older than I. I have run two businesses, one through a corporate, and the other with a franchise. Mr. Rico was one of the few members staff members left at a store that I had taken over. Though it wasn’t the first time I had met him, it was the first time I had been able to work with him; and that was for about a year and a half. I scheduled him with me most of time, as I could trust him to help me with various aspects of my job.

Mr. Rico is one of the best employees I have gratefully had the pleasure of getting to work with in my time in management. He has strong work ethic and a drive to succeed. Mr. Rico was someone I could count on to get tasks done in not just a timely fashion, but at a professional level. I could count on him at a second’s notice, to pick up shifts at any given time. He has great people skills, which are a product of his fun, friendly nature. When he sets his mind on something, he sees it through till the finish line. It was a pleasure getting to know him and work with him.

Mr. Rico is a benefit to anyone looking to place him on their team, and someone they could rely on to go above and beyond the job at hand. He is very capable at learning new challenges while fully understanding what he is trying to accomplish. Mr. Rico isn’t just someone to have on as a staff member, he is someone they need. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking him for employment.

Brief Portion of a paper I did on Islam and Christianity for a History class. Muslims celebrate with Ides, which is a large feast (Hufnail, 2002).

There are quite a few areas where Islam differs from Christianity. Christians believe that Jesus died for their sins and was resurrected. Muslims believe that Jesus died and was lifted to heaven and that we never resurrected (Hufnail, 2002). In Christianity men and women worship together, but in Islam they worship separately. Women are also oppressed in many Muslim cultures today. The main day of worship in Christianity is Sunday, while Muslims main day of worship is Friday. The holy city in Christianity is Jerusalem, while the holiest city in Islam is Mecca.
