AGED
The aged require access to a range of services to help them maintain their wellbeing. This may help them in areas such as making new friends, access doctors and hospitals, attend social events etc.
ACCESS TO SERVICES
The aged is more likely to catch diseases and illnesses so good health care is crucial.
Regular physical activity is important in maintaining good health, also healthy diets must be maintained.
Social health is important in maintaining high self esteem.
HEALTH
Due to decreasing mobility and strength, the ages may feel more insecure both in their home and outside the environment. A home alarm and regular contact with family and friends can be helpful.
SECURITY AND SAFTEY
With many ages people now being retired, they may require financial support to maintain their lifestyle and pay bills, travel, go on social outings and meet their general needs.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
A persons sense of identity may decrease when they are aged as many no longer have the responsibilities they once had. Continuing to participate in social and other activities they enjoy can help them to maintain a sense of identity.
