SOLUTION - Standard file naming conventions for submitting assignments would help keep people organized. i.e. student's last name, course, and assignment namefile types (.doc, .docx, .rtf, etc.)

Blackboard Migration Checklist1. Remove any unnecessary assignments from your course.
During migration, all activities will be added to your Grade Center and may difficult or impossible to remove. While they can be deactivated and hidden, it is recommended that you clean these out instead to keep your course clean and running smoothly.
2. Remove subtitles on your folders and activities.
Revise your titles to be descriptive of the content and activities.
3. Change Surveys to tests (assessments)
4. Customized icons do not migrateNeed to double check on this for safekeeping. Be sure to save your icons.
5. External linksExternal links will only migrate if they are embedded in text, if they were added any other way such as the ANGEL link button shown below, they will not migrate.
