Mad Max Fury Road introThe titles for mad max fury road feature a blood red colour with edgy fonts. The two main protagonist names appear on the screen and cover half the screen. It features a voice over from Max himself as he describes what has happened before letting the viewer understand the situation and previous events. It then cuts to a landscape of max by his car over looking the barren wasteland that is earth. Max then suddenly reacts and hastily

packs his things and enters his car chasing some others. We will replicate this in our intro as when Jasper hears the sirens and sees the lights he will pack his things and sprint away. This throws us straight into a loud car chase and dramatic action, a typical convention of action is to throw the viewer into the deep end straight away keeping the viewer on the edge of their seat straight away.

Left Behind intro• The left behind titles features green

titles but there are no actor names in this intro. This is something we will include in our own intro as our main protagonists eyes struggle to open we will show the actor names and film directors in his eyes.

Then panic ensues on the plane as people disappear but their clothes are left behind, this is a rapture. This is an extreme situation and people begin to panic, typical of an apocalypse film similar to the one we are doing. The titles used were green basic text, all caps over a picture of the world which is simple but effective as it shows everyone is involved in the situation.
