Early Childhood

Anne Frank was born June 29, 1929, in Frankfurt-On-Main Germany.

She lived a happy life as a young girl.

Anne is special because...

She was a special girl because the diary she wrote was published into a book and she still lives on today in peoples hearts and souls.

A Challenge Faced Was...

A challenge she faced was that she had to hide and didn't breathe any fresh air for two whole years and had to be very quiet while in hiding.

Het Achter-huis

This is what Anne Frank's diary looked like when it was first published in 1947.

Het Achter-huis means The Diary of a Young Girl.

Anne is Famous for...

She wrote a diary and stayed in hiding inside for two years.

Her hiding home was called the secret annex.

Something I like About Anne is...

She was very forgiving.

Anne thought her diary was the best gift ever.

She is interesting because

Something many people don't know about Anne is that her diary was like her best friend.

She thought it was the only thing she could confide to .

She named her diary and when she wrote in it she said it was like writing to her imaginary girlfriend Kitty.

She is interesting because in school she was a chatterbox and nicknamed herself 'Miss Quack Quack'.

How Anne Spent Her Days

Anne sometimes felt unhappy and uncomfortable in the secret annexe, but she also had some fun times.

During the days she would often do schoolwork, and a correspondence course.

One day she even made a dance dress from an old petticoat

Death

Anne died in concentration camp in early march in 1945.

The last surviving member of the secret annex was Otto Frank, Anne's father, who died in 1980.
