2. The Pomo lived north of San Francisco Bay. The climate of the region was cool and wet. The landforms in this region are rivers, lakes, and trees. The Coastal Region 3. Their houses were cone-shaped houses along the coast. They were made from piling redwood bark against poles that came together at the top. Housing 4. The Pomo ate animals, fish, berries, nuts, and acorns. The Pomo got their food by hunting, gathering, and pruning or trimming the oak and pine trees around them so that the trees would produce lots of acorns. Food 5. The natural resources that were in my Indians region were trees, water, and animals. The Pomo used these natural resources by using trees for housing and food, animals for food, and water for food.
