KenCates officiated.Randolph died Oct. 6, 2004.Born Feb. 12, 1925, in Rhome, he owned Randolph Landscape Company. He joined the U.S.Army in 1944 and served in France, Germany and Belguim under generals Patton andEisenhower. He signed on for an additional year of service once World War II was over and servedin the occupation forces with the duty of taking American officers to the Nuremberg trials inGermany. He earned a bronze star in 1946. He worked for Convair for 10 years building B-36 andB-58 bombers before opening his own business. He joined St. Marks Methodist Church in FortWorth in 1954 and was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in the Longhorn Council.He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rhonda Randolph; four sisters, Florence, Bessie,Mary and Pauline Randolph, and three brothers, Bob, Albert and William Randolph.He is survived by his son, Layne Blake Randolph and wife, Latrica; a sister, Johnnie CorrineMcCray of Sacramento, Calif., and a granddaughter, Karen Randolph, of Dallas.Published Sunday, October 10, 2004

She graduated fromBoyd High School, and her family owned Boyd Telephone Company.
