Technical Specifi cations
The SGM MIMS separator features an
innovative proprietary magnetic circuit that
results in a unique homogeneous (both
axially and radially) high magnetic fi eld and high
gradient along its entire magnetic arc, which
makes it extremely well performing on low
magnetic susceptibility iron ore, both in terms
of recovery and purity.
Placed after some LIMS (Light Intensity
Magnetic Separators), it constitutes an
economic way to further recover some high
concentrate iron ore.
Placed after some LIMS and before some
WHIMS (Wet High Intensity Magnetic
Separators), it can help increase signifi cantly
the productivity of the WHIMS by minimizing
clogging exposure.
The SGM MIMS can operate concurrent or
counter-current and can be offered with or
without a tank that must be specifi cally
designed for its magnetic circuit.
