Drinks Receptions

9www.nationaltrust.org.uk/fountainsabbey

The perfect way to start your celebrations is with a drinks reception. We have two atmospheric locations for your guests to relax in and be well looked after, leaving you to make full use of the magnificent surroundings for your wedding photographs.

The Elizabethan garden is a private walled garden with the grand backdrop of Fountains Hall. The arching orchard bridge makes a dramatic photo opportunity. Scents from our wisteria, lavender and roses sweep through the garden making for a romantic outdoor reception during the summer months.

The Stone Hall in Fountains Hall is an imposing yet cosy venue, with a grand fireplace, minstrels gallery and high stone ceiling. This is the alternative to the Elizabethan Garden during the winter months.
