CHILL REDS?A common misperception is that reds should be served at room temperature. Reds are properly served at cellar temperature, which averages near 60 degrees. Average room temperature is 72. Drinking at cellar temp will enhance the flavor profile of your red wine.

THINGS THAT COOL.WE MAKE COOL THINGS.Since we launched, we’ve heard quite a few stories on how we first got the idea for the Corkcicle. And while we wish we’d been inspired while sipping warmish wine in an icicle-rimmed Aspen chalet, that’s not the case. The truth is that entrepreneur Ben Hewitt came up with an idea for keeping his wine cold by chilling inside the bottle. He made a succesful prototype (shown left) in the garage and then teamed up with friends Stephen Bruner (marketing guru) and Eric Miller (sales guru) to bring both design and distribution to the product.
