Il faro Rovenska 1856 –la pietra angolare della grande diga e stata posta nel 1856 dall’ arciduca austriaco Ferdinand Maximilian, allora comandante della marina austro-ungarica, e lungo la diga è stato costruito il cantiere.
Casa di cura Veli Lošinj – Lussingrande (parco – bosco Pod Javori) – nel 1886 era Villa Podjavori - castello e giardino dell’ arciduca Carlo Stefano d’Asburgo. Come una struttura medica, ospedale e casa di cura per bambini, e in funzione continua dal 1957, ed è specializzata nel trattamento di malattie respiratorie, asma, allergie e la psoriasi, nonché per la terapia fisica e riabilitazione.
Punta Leva - Pietro Giacomo Leva è stato il primo capitano dell’ Adriatico dell’ est il quale ha circumnavigato il Cape Horn nel 1834., da Trieste a Valparaiso ha navigato 125 giorni ed ha avviato i rapporti commerciali con il Cile. Capo Horn, da Trieste a Valparaiso galleggiava per 125 e l’avvio di rapporti commerciali con il Cile.

HR VELI LOŠINJ
Smješten je u uskoj uvali na jugoistočnoj strani otoka Lošinja, u podnožju brda Sv. Ivan. Visoke kuće, u prvom redu oko luke, te brojne raskošne vile s lijepim vrtovima, glavne su značajke ovog lijepog gradića, koji je sa svojih 1000 stanovnika, drugo naselje po veličini na otoku.Interesantno je spomenuti da je nekad Veli Lošinj (Velo selo) bio veći od Malog Lošinja (Malo selo), ali se Mali Lošinj kroz povijest brže razvijao, te je danas situacija obrnuta, ali su nazivi ostali do današnjih dana.U uskim uličicama Velog Lošinja, kroz “portune” vide se raskošne vile nekadašnjih kapetana, brodovlasnika i bogate gospode. U vrtovima tih vila skupljeno je 80-tak vrsta različitog bilja, dok u velološinjskom parku, ispred današnjeg liječilišta, a nekadašnje rezidencije nadvojvode Karla Stjepana, ima više od 200 botaničkih vrsta.U neposrednoj blizini Velog Lošinja smještena je mala ribarska lučica Rovenska, koja plijeni pažnju svojom prekrasnom plažom, ribarskim ugođajem, tradicijom ljudi koji su svoj život posvetili moru i izravnom dodiru s prirodom.

Crkva Gospe od Anđela, oko 1510. (dograđena 1730.) - posebnu vrijednost ima mramorni glavni oltar iz 18. stoljeća na kojem se ističu dvije slike poznatog kasnobaroknog slikara Francesca Fontebassa (“Sv. Hildebrand” i “Sv. Franjo Paulski”).
Lukobran Rovenska, 1856. - kamen temeljac za veliki lukobran položio je 1856. godine austrijski nadvojvoda Ferdinand Maksimilijan, tada zapovjednik austro-ugarske ratne mornarice, a uz lukobran je podignuto brodogradilište.
Lječilište Veli Lošinj (park - šuma Pod javori) - 1886. je bilo Villa Podjavori - dvorac i perivoj nadvojvode Karla Stjepana Habsburga. Kao medicinska ustanova, dječja bolnica pa lječilište, kontinuirano djeluje od 1957. godine, a specijalizirano je za liječenje dišnih putova, astme, alergija i psorijaze te za fizikalnu medicinu i rehabilitaciju.
Punta Leva (Rt Leva) - Petar Jakov (Pietro Giacomo) Leva prvi je istočnojadranski kapetan koji je 1834. godine oplovio Cape Horn, iz Trsta u Valparais doplovio za 125 dana i pokrenuo trgovačke odnose s Čileom.

Župna crkva sv. Antuna Opata, 1774. – posebno je vrijedna slika «Bogorodice sa svecima» Bartolomea Vivarinija iz 1475. godine.

Kapela Navještenja Marijina, 18. st. (dograđena 1897.) - na rtu je još u 18. st. podignuta mala jednobrodna crkva koja je pomorcima služila kao orijentir u navigaciji, a u njoj su pokopane generacije poznatih velološinjskih obitelji Budinić i Stuparić.

Nei vicoli di Lussingrande, attraverso i “portoni” si vedono le lussuose ville dei capitani di una volta, armatori e ricchi signori. Nei giardini di queste ville ci sono piú di 80 diversi tipi di piante, mentre nel parco di Veli Losinj, di fronte al centro termale di oggi, un ex residenza dell’arciduca Carlo Stefano, ci sono più di 200 speci botaniche.Nelle immediate vicinanze di Veli Losinj è situato un piccolo porto di pescatori Rovenska, che attira l’attenzione con le sue splendide spiagge, l’atmosfera di pesca, la tradizione di persone che hanno dedicato la loro vita al mare e il contatto diretto con la natura.

La Chiesa Signora degli Angeli, intorno al 1510. (ampliata nel 1730) – un valore speciale ha il altare maggiore in marmo del 18 ° secolo, sul quale sono particolarmente belli i due dipinti del famoso pittore tardo-barocco Francesco Fontebasso (“San Hildebrand” e “San Francesco di Paola”).

DE VELI LOŠINJ

In ihren Gärten wachsen über 80 verschiedene Pflanzenarten, und im Park von Veli Lošinj, vor der heutigen Kurklinik – der damaligen Residenz des Erzherzogs Karl Stephan von Österreich, sogar mehr als 200. Die Kapelle der Mariä Verkündigung, 18. Jahrhundert (1897 umgebaut) – auf dem Kap wurde noch im 18. Jahrhundert eine kleine einschiffige Kirche gebaut, die den Seeleuten als Navigationsorientierung diente. In ihr sind mehrere Generationen der Familien Budinić und Stuparić aus Veli Lošinj begraben.

The chapel of the Annunciation of Mary, 18th century, (expanded in 1897) – a small single nave church was built back in the 18th century at the cape. It served as a landmark for seafarers in their navigation. Generations of well-known families from Veli Lošinj, families Budinić and Stuparić, were buried here.
Kula – Lošinj Museum – built in the 15th century, in the first decades of Venetian rule on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. Renovated in 2001 and turned into a museum and a gallery. Kaštel bb, t: +385 51 236 594

Port of Rovenska – in a bay that was named after the wind (bora) that “rove” (digs, plows) the coast with relentless power, lies the fishing part of Veli Lošinj.
