Cathedral: Nuestra Señora de la Asunción

The cathedral has got a sad story. Juan de Herrera designed the cathedral as the most important building in Valladolid.When the cathedral wasn’t finished yet, the king,Felipe II asked Juan de Herrera to design the Escorial, and in order to not allow to finish the Valladolid cathedral, the king asked to take out the Juan eyes.So, our cathedral isn’t finished.
