As a young learners we should read a lot for
which we should select appropriate text .

from the page to the reader, instead it is a
complex negotiation between the text and
the reader.

proficiency, and content information.

BEFORE READING What to read?
Try to guess what the author try to say
by giving a glance. Check the topic,
Index, Blurb, surveying picture,
etcetera.
Find is it relevant to your topic?
Skimming and scanning are the key
strategy in pre reading.
CHOOSING THE BEST SOURCE:
1. Ask your tutor for reading list
2. Use your textbook, you may find a
recommended list
3. Look up the topic in Encyclopedia
4. Web resource
5. Journal articles This brings answer for the question that
is it needed to read
WHILE READING Find the focus of your reading Note taking is key strategy in reading,
this makes the reader active This is influenced by before reading Questioning, Predicting and visualizing
