Tour itinerary: Day 1: Saigon - Soai Rap (L, D)

Our tour guide and driver pick you up at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to Pier At 12:15: You embark onto luxurious RV La Marguerite cruise At 13:00 pm: You enjoy a tasty buffet lunch At 15:15: Your Indochina tours start by sailing leisurely towards Soai Rap. You will see daily life of local people along the river. At 19:30: You enjoy the first dinner onboard while Ms RV La Marguerite is sailing towards Cai Be. You spend the 1st night of your amazing Indochina tours In Cai Be.

Day 2: Soai Rap – Sadec (B, L, D)

You will enjoy your lovely day with the sunrise over the river and start your Indochina tours by joining a river boat to visit Cai Be, the most bustling floating market in Mekong



Delta with thousands of small vendor boats jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods.

You explore the hidden treasures through the canals and visit traditional candy making factory and rice paper mills. You return to boat for lunch at 12:30 and cruises to Sadec, hometown of Marguerite Duras’ lover. You visit the old house of Huynh Thuy Le’s now known as The Lovers Museum.

The next stops of your Indochina tours are local markets along the paved river banks, the ancient Pagoda and the Chinese deities at the Fujian Temple. Pass by the school where Marguerite's mother's taught and view the home of Marguerite from across the river bank.

You go back to Ms RV La Marguerite to see cultural dancers. The 2nd day of your Indochina tours end with themed dinner and unforgettable experience.

Day 3: Tan Chau – Phnom Penh (B, L, D)

When you arrive in Tan Chau, a remote small town on the main Mekong River at 8:30, you join small boat to visit a floating fish farm and navigate along the tiny tribunals where stilt houses are haphazardly leaning on one another. You go ashore and take a city tour on Xe Loi to visit traditional silk making factory and rattan mats and slippers making factory. Then you return to the boat for crossing the Vietnamese/Cambodian borders (Vietnam border - Song Tien and Cambodian border- Ka Orm Samnor).

You enjoy great lunch ahd head towards Phnom Penh. Dinner is served at 19:30. You overnight on board.

Day 4: Explore charming Phnom Penh (B, L, D)

Today, your Indochina tours start by visiting Phnom Penh city. First, you visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum.

At 12:00: You Return to the cruise for great lunch

In the afternoon, you visit the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng (S21) detention center. Shopping is optional. After delicious dinner, a special Cambodian performance awaits at the Saigon Lounge from 21:00 to 22:00.

Day 5: Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham (B, L, D)

Today you will visit Chong Koh Village and Chong Koh Silk Weaving Factory from 9:30 to 11:00. Cruise towards Peam Chi Kang while lunch is served at 12:30. You arrive at Peam Chi Kang and visit the Peam Chi Kang Village, the Wat/Monastry and its schools from 16:00 to 17:30. You depart for Kampong Cham at 17:45. The 5th night of your Indochina tours ends with another wonderful themed dinner



Day 6: Kampong Cham – Phnom Penh (B, L)

You start your Indochina tours by exploring Wat Hanchey, a hilltop pagoda overlooking the Mekong. At 11:45, you return to the boat and cast off for Kampong Cham around 12:00. You enjoy lunch at 12:30. At 14:00, you arrive at Kampong Cham and go ashore from 14:30 to 18:00. You throw yourself into evergreen forest of Ceylon ironwood, rosewood, bean trees, teak, and rubber trees and visit 12th century Angkorian temple of Wat Nokor and Eco village.

Day 7: Phnom Penh – Kampong Chnang (B, L, D)

You arrive at Kampong Chhnang by 11:00 and visit Kampong Chhnang. You enjoy a quintessential river excursion through the floating houses to get a glimpse of the local lifestyles in the Tonle Sap.

At 12:30, you return to the boat for lunch.

At 16:00 to 17:00: you have a cultural forum on Cambodia at Saigon Lounge. Farewell dinner & cocktail from 19:30 to 21:00. You spend the night in the middle of Tonle Sap Lake.

Day 8: Siem Reap (B)

At 9:00: You reach Siem Reap. Bid farewells to the crew and guides and disembark around 9:30. Take local boats and arrive at local jetty approximately 5 to 6 km away from the middle of the lake. You are transferred to motor coach/bus to hotel in Siem Reap at around 10:30. Tour ends.

Trip Notes: Tour guide: Local tour guide with international experience will give you the feeling of safety, protection. He will cares about every meal you eat, the room in hotel, especially he gives you the concept of how to behave well towards the locals. He also let you know all information about your tourist destination.

Things to bring: When you travel, you had better take sun block, insect repellent and hat or cap with you. It is easy for you to have flu or cold without careful preparation because the often changes of weather.

Food: Try to get used to the food in different parts of Southern Vietnam as well as of Cambodia, if you have any problem about food, please let tour guide know even before meals, we will change into the food that you prefer.



Currency: US dollars are the best currency to spend in both Vietnam and Cambodia.

Tips: For tour guide, driver, boat crew… tipping depends on your satisfaction of your trip. It should be 10 USD/day for guide, 5 for driver and 10 for the whole boat crew.
