Public transport–the easy way toMoore ParkMoore Park is well serviced bypublic transport. Regular busservices from key train stations takeyou to Moore Park. On event daysthe express buses from CentralStation are the best way to getto Moore Park.

Getting to an eventMoore Park hosts some of the best entertainmentfacilities in the world. When visiting the SydneyFootball Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Groundor the Hordern Pavilion why not come early andenjoy the tranquillity of Centennial Parklands, orthe excitement of Fox Studios.

Public transport is best

We’ve used Sydney’s Olympic experience tostreamline public transport for events.

To get to an event, travel to Central Station. TheMoore Park Link is a convenient train/bus ticket,available from most CityRail stations.

From Central Station, catch an express busfrom Chalmers StExpress shuttle buses run every 5 minutes and willdrop you at the centre of Moore Park. The busesdon’t stop along the way and use special ‘bus only’lanes to get you there quickly. Usual travel time isonly 5 minutes. Check newspapers or call 131 500to check whether the buses are running for yourevent, or log on to www.131500.com.au

From Central Station, walk alongDevonshire St to Moore ParkA gentle stroll down historic Devonshire St, withits numerous cafes and shady trees, is the perfectstart to a relaxing day. From Central Station toMoore Park it’s about 2 kms, or about 20 minutes.

And getting home is just as easy. Express shuttlebuses will return you to Central Station or CircularQuay and run continuously for 90 minutes afterthe event.

Taxis

Taxis drop off in Fox Studios or in Driver Aveoutside your venue. There is a taxi rank inFox Studios for the journey home.

Coaches

If you are coming in a group, a coach is a greatway to travel. Coach parking is available close to allvenues. For details call (02) 9339 6699.

Park and ride

Park your car and catch a shuttle bus toMoore Park. Check newspapers or call theevent promoter for details.

Accessible transportCentral Station, Town Hall, Wynyard andCircular Quay are all accessible train stations.

Accessible buses are included in the expressshuttle fleet from Central Station (maximumwait–20 minutes). Sydney Buses is increasingthe number of accessible buses and will includethem on all routes as they become available.

Bus connections

Wynyard and Town HallTake the 339 Clovelly bus via George St and EddyAve to the Moore Park bus station. Usually every15 minutes (weekdays) and 20 minutes (weekends).

Circular Quay and Martin PlaceTake a 372-377 or 390-399 bus from Alfred Stvia Philip St and Elizabeth St to Anzac Parade.Usually every 5 minutes (daytime) and10-20 minutes (early morning and evenings).

Take the 380, 382 or L82 buses via Oxford St andalight at Greens Rd to walk to Moore Park or atQueens St for Centennial Park. Usually every5 minutes (7 days).

Central Station (Railway Square)From Stand A, take the 372, 393 or 395 Randwick,Coogee or Maroubra buses via Cleveland St toMoore Park. Usually every 5 minutes (7 days).

Central Station (Eddy Ave)From Stand A, take the 378 via Oxford St and alightat Greens Rd for a 5-minute walk to Moore Park.Usually every 10 minutes (7 days).

From Stand C, take the 339, 374, 376 or 391via Anzac Parade to Moore Park. Usually every5 minutes (7 days).

Bondi JunctionFrom Stand 1, take the 355 bus via Oxford St toCook Rd and Lang Rd.

From Stand 9, take the L82, 378, 380 or 382 busesalong Oxford St alight at Greens Rd for a 5-minutewalk to Moore Park. Usually every 5 minutes(7 days).

Walking and cycling• From Central Station, walk along

Devonshire St, 20 minutes to Moore Park,40 minutes to Centennial Park.

• From Bondi Junction Station, walk alongOxford St, 20 minutes to Centennial Park.

All pathways in Moore Park are shared footpath/cycleways. There are bicycle racks at Fox Studiosand in various locations around CentennialParklands.

A train/bus ticket to get you to and fromMoore Park on a single ticket. Available frommost CityRail stations with a ticket office.
