The aim of this course is to prepare professionals for the prestigious Credential of PMI® – The Program Management Professional (PgMP®). The process of obtaining this credential is multi staged, including experience summaries and an exam. This course covers all such stages and provides candidates with tips and guidance on every step.

In addition to preparing for the PgMP exam, candidates will gain a thorough understanding of program management. They will also learn about the role of program managers, the interface between project and program managers, the competencies of a program manager and the relationship between program and portfolio managers. Candidates will

understand how program managers define, align and manage benefits, engage and involve stakeholder expectations, and establish governance across the program life cycle.

This is an advanced course, and attendees must have previous working knowledge with Programs as well as familiarity with PMI’s project management standards. It is highly recommended that candidates have between three and five years of PM experience as well as PMP® certification, although not mandatory.
