Stripping Oven Armature Coil Equipment Inc. Cleveland

Armature Coil Equipment’s oven strips coatings, paint, rubber, and plastics from metal parts, dies, racks, and fixtures. The temperature is rigidly controlled in the removal of combustible material by thermal decompo- sition, thus protecting the metal parts from distortion. Smoke and fumes are incinerated in the afterburner. Discharges to atmosphere are harmless byproducts of combustion, conforming to EPA air emission standards.

Molten Stripping Baths l-lea tba th Corp. Springfield, Mass.

Heatbath Corp. offers two economical alternatives for high-volume shops that need fast, complete stripping of paints and powder coatings. Durastrip M-3 is an alka- line, oxidizing salt bath for cleaning parts and fixtures made from ferrous materials. It removes enamels, ep- oxies, varnishes, and other finishes in a few seconds to a few minutes without hand labor. Durastrip M-3 has a melting point of 550°F and is easy to maintain, with a stable chemistry that does not require monitoring or titration. Durastrip 1498 is a low-temperature bath for removing organic coatings from ferrous and aluminum parts. Its melting point is 425”F, and it has a 300°F working range. Durastrip paint stripping systems can be adapted to batch processing or incorporated with auto- mated systems.

Paint/Powder Stripping Furnace Pollution Control Products Co. Dallas

The Advanced Controlled Pyrolysis Paint/Powder Stripping Furnace utilizes a rate control system, which monitors the rate of temperature increase in both the furnace and afterburner compartment. If the factory- programmed rate is exceeded, the water mist will im- mediately activate to control any over temperatures, which might damage your parts. The furnace is built to Factory Mutual Standards and features a completely automatic cycle timer. The furnace runs only long enough to clean the parts and then shuts down. A rapid- fire afterburner ensures that the toughest EPA standards are met.

Plastic Media Blasting Composition Materials Co. Inc. Fairfield, Conn.

Plastic media blasting (PMB) is a process for the rapid, economic, and safe removal of coatings. Because the plastic granules are harder than coatings but softer than underlying substrates, PMB can quickly remove coatings without harming sensitive surfaces. Composi- tion Materials manufactures five grades of Plasti-Grit plastic media. The media are safe, economical, recycla- ble, and environmentally preferred.
