Alarm functions

TheFCB-PVSeriesprovidesanalarmfunctionthatdetectschangesintheAF,AE,orbothAFandAElevelsofanimageandoutputsanalarmsignalasrequiredtoexternalequipmentviaitscontrolinterfaceusingtheVISCAprotocol.Thisfeatureisidealforautomaticallyperformingfunctionssuchassoundinganaudiblealarm or triggering an electric strike to lock or unlock adoorwhenfocusorluminancelevelschange.

ThesecamerasarealsoequippedwithaSpotAEfunctionthatallowsthemtodetectchangesinAElevelsofdesignatedareasoftheimages,andoutputan alarm signal accordingly. users can designate multipledetectingareasfromanyof16verticaland 16horizontalblocks.

Inaddition,thesecamerasfeatureaDAY/NIGHTmodethatcanoutputanalarmsignalviatheVISCAprotocolinresponsetoachangeinthedesignatedbrightness/darkness level.

WiththeFCB-PVSeries,unwantedorprohibitedareaswithinanimagecanbemaskedwithamosaiceffectin addition to conventional colour masking with colorssuchasblack,grey,white,red,green,blue,cyan,yellowandmagenta.TheprohibitedareasareinterlockedwithPan/Tilt/Zoommovementsforcomprehensivemasking.Amaximumof24maskingareascanbepresettoanyof160horizontaland120verticalmaskingblocks.Inaddition,uptoeightmaskingpresetscanbesetforaspecificimage.Amaximumoftwodifferentcolours(includingthemosaicpattern)canbedisplayedinasingleimage.

Foroptimisedsensitivityinbothdayandnight-timeshootingapplications,theFCB-PV480cameraincorporatesanAutoICRfunction.Withasetlevelofdarkness,theIRCutfilterisautomaticallydisabled(ICRON)andtheinfraredsensitivityisincreased.Withasetlevelofbrightness,thefilterisautomaticallyenabled(ICROFF).TheICRautomaticallyengagesdependingontheambientlight,allowingthecameratobeeffectiveinavarietyoflightingconditions.
