Moral Dilemma.. Who would you save?

Q1. A building is on fire containing six of the following people:

• A celebrity• A spiritual leader• A political leader• A pregnant woman• A pioneering scientist• A nuclear physicist

You are only able to save one personfrom the building. Who would it be and why?

Would you save.. Your Favourite Celebrity?

• Give two reasons why you WOULD save your favourite celebrity over the other individuals in the building?

• Give two reasons why you WOULD NOT save your favourite celebrity over the other individuals in the building?

Other individuals in the building include:• Spiritual leader• Political leader• Pregnant woman• Pioneering scientist• Nuclear physicist

Example FOR:

This celeb may donate generously to charity

Example AGAINST:

Celebrities have no life affirming skills

• Give two reasons why you WOULD save a spiritual leader over the other individuals in the building?

• Give two reasons why you WOULD NOT save a spiritual leader over the other individuals in the building?

Other individuals in the building include:• Your favourite celebrity• Political leader• Pregnant woman• Pioneering scientist• Nuclear physicist

Example FOR: Will sadden many peoples lives who follow them.

Example AGAINST:

Many people follow different faiths, saving one spiritual leader will not benefit everybody

A political leader could be easily replaced by somebody in their party.

You would be saving two lives over just one.

Example AGAINST:

The baby may die in childbirth.
