design which blends emotive appeal and sportiness with an individual character, adding

distinctive highlights in the compact-car segment. To add further design details you can

select from three design and equipment lines and three packages with different points

of emphasis and thus create your own completely individual new A-Class.

Confident exterior design with striking contours, an expressive front section

with a radiator grille featuring double louvres, dynamically curved surfaces and

a coup-like window line

Terse side section with two distinctive structural lines, a broad rear section with

shoulders and powerfully flared wings

High-quality interior with a sport y, ergonomic cockpit whose features include

a standard-specification 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel with 12 function buttons,

a multifunction display in the instrument cluster and further equipment and appoint-

ments on request, such as a floating screen and sporty seats with integral head

restraints

Perhaps the finest way of turning a drop of fuel into peak performance.

Dynamic and efficient engines achieve an output of up to 155 kW. The optional dual

clutch transmission 7G-DCT reacts immediately in every situation. The agile handling

of the new A-Class can be enhanced even further, depending on the equipment of the

particular model in question; the A 250 Sport engineered by AMG promises added

dynamism. A whole host of effectively matched BlueEFFICIENCY measures ensures in

parallel that no unnecessary burden is placed on the environment.

Safety ComfortTravel first-class on every road with immediate effect. It is not just the optionally

available design and equipment lines and packages that are of a premium calibre in the

new A-Class. The multitude of equipment and appointments offered is also of a premium

calibre, and a whole series of them was previously reserved for more highly positioned

vehicle segments. So you can now look forward to yet more hallmark Mercedes comfort

in the compact class, too.

The full safety spectrum. New and standard-specification features in the new A-Class

include the ATTENTION ASSIST and the COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST with the

adaptive braking assistance system. These are accompanied by further innovative safety

and assistance systems which have never been offered in the compact c lass in such

abundance. The stable safety passenger compartment and up to nine airbags can

contribute towards achieving optimum protection for the occupants.

COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST and ATTENTION ASSIST as standard

The A 250 is available in a particularly dynamic version,

the A 250 Sport1 engineered by AMG. It boasts an AMG

sports suspension - featuring a specific front axle

developed by the Mercedes-AMG specialists. The models

further equipment is based on the AMG Sport equipment

line and supplements it with further exterior and interior

features coordinated with one another. These include the

eye-catching diamond-effect grille, red trim on the

front and rear apron and headlamps with red highlight

rings. The athletic look is added to by the AMG 5-spoke

alloy-wheels, which are painted black with a high-sheen

finish and shod with 235/40 R 18 tyres and feature

red-painted brake callipers plus Sport badges on the

front wings. This racing theme is continued just as

prominently in the interior. Characteristic features of the

A 250 Sport are the red seat belts, spor ts seats with

red contrasting topstitching and the red highlight rings

on the air outlets. Floor mats with Sport lettering

form the perfect finishing touch for the Sport model.

Young, dynamic sportiness combined with superb quality: The new A-Class impresses

in the interior as it does on the exterior with unusual ideas and painstaking attention to

detail. The ex-factory features include steel wheels with 10-hole trim and 195/65 R 15

tyres (205/55 R 16 in conjunction with the A 200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and A 200

BlueEFFICIENCY) plus a compact rear bumper in the vehicle colour with a diffuser

insert sporting a black grain finish. The interior impresses with its 3-spoke multifunction

steering wheel with 12 function buttons, a multifunction display in the instrument cluster,

Audio 5 including a USB connection, honeycomb-look trim, an armrest at the front with

a stowage compartment and black fabric on the seat upholstery and door centre panels.

Standard equipment Style

The radiator grille in the vehicle colour with two louvres and chrome trim, plus the waistline trim strip in chrome ensure

that the new A -Class with Style appointments is a shining example

The optional Style design and equipment line adds individual highlights with various trim

elements in chrome and 10-spoke light-alloy wheels with 205/55 R 16 tyres. The interior

boasts sports seats in fabric/ARTICO man-made leather and upholstery in black or

black/white with contrasting topstitching, black headlining (grey headlining is optional)

plus trim and ventilation outlets with surfaces in silver chrome.

The optional AMG Sport design and equipment line lends the new A-Class a systematically

dynamic appearance. Sure signs of this are the AMG bodystyling, the silver-coloured

radiator grille with two louvres and chrome inserts and the two-pipe exhaust system with

chrome-look oval tailpipe trim. Better handling and more motoring pleasure come

courtesy of a lowered sports suspension plus the Direct-Steer system and the AMG multi-

spoke light-alloy wheels with 225/40 R 18 tyres and perforated brake discs at the front.

The interior is characterised by spor ts seats in ARTICO man-made leather/DINAMICA

microfibre with red contrasting topstitching, a 3-spoke multifunction sports steering

wheel with a flattened bottom section and featuring nappa leather with red contrasting

topstitching and perforation in the area of grip, the sports instrument cluster with red

needles, carbon-fibre-look trim and sports pedals, plus AMG floor mats.

AMG Sport

The new A-Class with Urban equipment and appointments leaves a lasting impression thanks to its silver-coloured

radiator grille with two louvres and chrome trim, plus the waistline trim strip in chrome and a two-pipe exhaust system

The lowered sports suspension, multi-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels with 225/40 R 18 tyres and AMG bodystyling

underline the sporty radiance of the new A-Class with the AMG Sport design and equipment line

Available on request, this design and equipment line showcases the new A-Class in

a sporty, expressive way and impresses with its 5-spoke light-alloy wheels with

225/45 R 17 tyres, a radiator grille featuring a silver-coloured twin louvre with chrome

trim and a two-pipe exhaust system with chrome-look tailpipe trim. The interior

displays enhanced sportiness with its sports instrument cluster and spor ts seats with

contrasting topstitching, check-look trim, a 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel

with perforated leather and grey contrasting topstitching plus door centre panels and

armrests which feature contrasting topstitching all over.

Exclusive and AMG Exclusive package

The optional Exclusive package meets the requirements of those looking for a par ticularly

high-quality interior at luxury-segment level. It beguiles with its hallmark Mercedes luxury

such as heated sports seats with a 4-way lumbar support for the driver and front passenger,

plus black, crystal grey or nut brown leather upholstery. The steering wheel and selector

lever are also trimmed with leather, the door centre panels, the armrest and the dashboard

are colour-coordinated with them and adorned with ARTICO man-made leather. Floor mats

in cord round off the appointments. Based on the AMG Sport design and equipment line,

an extended AMG Exclusive package featuring two-tone upholstery in black RED CUT

leather with red contrasting topstitching is available.

Leather plays a central role as the material for the appointments in the Exclusive package. The result is a stylish,

high-quality interior

The Night package emphasises its special character with heat-insulating dark-tinted glass at the rear and rear side

windows, plus a whole host of exterior details in high-gloss black

Night package

Extravagant design ideas and special standards come together in the optionally available

Night package. It comprises a high-gloss black radiator grille featuring a 2-louvre look with

chrome trim, black exterior mirrors, a waistline trim strip in high-gloss black, 5-twin-spoke

light-alloy wheels painted in black and with a high-sheen finish, featuring 225/45 R 17

tyres plus heat-insulating dark-tinted glass at the rear and rear side windows. The Night

package is designed as a purely exterior package for further individualisation, and is based

on one of the three design and equipment lines Style, Urban or AMG Sport.

Take-back of end-of-life vehicles. You can return your A-Class to us for environment-friendly disposal in accordance with the European Union (EU)

End-Of-Life Vehicle Directive. But that day lies a long way off.

A network of vehicle take-back depots and dismantlers has been established to make it as easy as possible for you to return your vehicle.

You can leave it at any of these points free of charge and, by doing so, make an important contribution to completing the recycling processand conserving resources.
