SURF SIGN TIGHT END JIMMY GRAHAM LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Surf today announced they have agreed to terms with free agent tight end Jimmy Graham, General Manager Maddie Neubert announced. In keeping with club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

“We are extremely pleased and excited to have Jimmy join our organization,” said Neubert. “He is a very talented player, as his statistics attest. At the end of the season, he was one of the leading candidates for the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award. We feel that he is an outstanding player and will be a great addition to our team.”

Graham, a 27-year old native of Goldsboro, North Carolina, played the 2013 season with the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League, catching 99 passed for 1,310 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was the first tight end in team history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards. At the end of the season he was voted into his first Pro Bowl and ranked 14th in the top 200 players as chosen by [attribution].

The 6-foot, 7-inch, 260-pound Graham entered the NFL as the Saints third round 2010 draft choice from the University of Miami. In four seasons in New Orleans, he had 301 receptions for 3,863 yards and 41 touchdowns. He was voted to two Pro Bowls.
