THE PROGRAMME STRUCTURE (2) Your third year:The primary focus is on the writing of your Bachelor Thesis. In your third year you also have the opportunity to do an international exchange semester.

Your second year:Specialisation within one discipline - your future Major - begins in the second year.

Your first year:A variety of courses are taught during your first year that introduce you to the various disciplines within the Social Sciences and Humanities.

STUDY WORKLOAD & BSA Study workload in the first year: 30 EC semester 1 + 30 EC semester 2 = 60 EC total 30 EC = 40 hrs. of studying per week (15 hrs. of class-time and 25 hrs. of independent study)

Binding Study Advice (BSA) at the end of the first year: Positive BSA = minimum of 42 EC Negative BSA = less than 42 EC

A high level of self-motivation and self-discipline. An interest in participating in small-scale, interactive classes as well as lectures. A passion for discussion and debate.
