Unan-swered telephone calls can alert burglars to an empty home. * Show activity in your home while you’re away. Keep a car in the driveway, and keep interior and exterior lights on a timer. All cupboards and pantries should be cleared and re-stocked at least once yearly to dis-pose of expired food and guard against insects and rodents. Also make sure you clean your can opener!
