TROUBLESHOOTING
Aftertheinitialstartupburn,itmaybenecessarytoadjustthemediaplacementtoachievethebestflameappearance.Whileflameheightvariationisnormal,theremayappeartobehigherpeaksinsomeareasandlowflamepeaksinotherareas.
Iftheflameheightappearstobeexcessivelyhighinsomespots, applyingmoremedia to these areas on top of theburnerwillhelpevenouttheflames.Spreadingthemediaasevenlyaspossible is themosteffectivewaytoachieveoptimalflameappearanceandthemostevenflameheights.One or more test burns may be required to watch theflamesmatureandseehoweventhey lookbeforemakingadjustments.
Avoidusingmediapieceslargerthantwoinchesindiameter,thesecanbedisruptivetotheflamepatterns.Ifyoufindexralargemediapieces,discard.
