WHY CHOOSEBOLDT POOLS & SPAS?

1975 Boldt Pools Ltd. is established by brothers Peter & John Boldt as a compliment to John’s house construction business, John Boldt Construction.

1978 The retail store moves from a 6’ x 6’ cubicle in Peter and Fern’s garage to an even larger garage at their new home across the street.

1981 The retail store outgrows the garage at the new home and moves into a small building at 341 Lake St.

1982 Peter spends the off-season building a 2,400 sq. ft. retail store at 19 Secord Dr. to house the expanding business.

1990 After outgrowing its facilities, the retail store moves to a 5,000 sq. ft. building at 23 Secord Dr.

1992 Boldt Pool Construction Ltd. is established by Peter Boldt and his youngest son, Ted Boldt, who grew up with the business.

1997 Boldt Pools builds their 1000th inground pool at the home of a second generation Boldt pool owner.

2001 Boldt Pools opens a beautiful new spa showroom at 20 Nihan Dr.

2002 5,000 customers served!

2003 Our 1500th inground pool is built!

2005 We celebrate 30 years of business. Peter Boldt receives a lifetime achievement award from the National Pool and Spa Council of Canada.

INGROUND POOL COPINGBoldt Pools & Spas guarantees that the coping on all Boldt inground pools are free from manufacturing defects and will perform satisfactorily for as long as the original purchaser owns the pool.

CONCRETE POOL BOTTOMSAll concrete bottoms installed by Boldt Pools & Spas are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship and will perform satisfactorily under normal ground conditions for as long as the original purchaser owns the pool.

UNDERGROUND PLUMBINGAll underground plumbing in your Boldt inground pool is guaranteed not to leak under normal operating conditions for as long as the original purchaser owns the pool and provided Boldt Pools & Spas winterizes the pool.

CONCRETE POOL DECKSThe pool deck installed by Boldt Pools & Spas is guaranteed to be free of settlement and to remain tight against the coping for as long as the original purchaser owns the pool. Due to the inherent nature of concrete, cracking can occur due to climatic conditions and is considered normal and is not covered by this warranty.

EXTENDED EQUIPMENT WARRANTYBoldt Pools & Spas extends the terms of Hayward’s original equipment warranty of 1 year by an additional 2 years to cover the costs of materials and labour incurred in the repair of such equipment.

GENERALThese guarantees are in lieu of all expressed or implied. No representative or other person is authorized or permitted to make guarantees or to assume liability not strictly in accordance with the terms as shown on the Guarantee Certificate, and this warranty is contingent on full payment of the original purchase price being made by the purchaser.

All guarantees or warranties are void if pool or equipment is abused, or if proper maintenance, installation, and winterizing procedures are not followed or if proper chemical care of the pool water is not maintained. All warranty claims must be submitted to Boldt Pools & Spas, and must be accompanied by a duly executed original copy of the Pool Sale Agreement.

POOL LINERSBoldt Pools & Spas pool liners are guaranteed to be free from original defects in workmanship and materials, and not to separate at the seams for as long as the original purchaser owns the pool. Should an original defect or seam separation occur, Boldt Pools & Spas will rectify the problem at their own cost, or offer a replacement liner in accordance with the following cost sharing schedule:
