Shervin PishevarFounder & Chairman
Shervin is a Managing Director at Sherpa Capital, a venture firm he co‐founded in 2013. Sherpa invests in firms such as Uber, Airbnb, Munchery, ipsy, Shyp, Stance, Rent the Runway, Beepi, PillPack, and Cue Health. Shervin is an Ellis Island Medal of Honor award winner and was appointed by the President to serve on the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. He serves on the advisory board of Comscore and is an entrepreneurial ambassador in State department delegations to the Middle East and Russia.
Brent is one technology’s top financial executives. He served as CFO at Uber Technologies from 2013 to 2015 and prior to that was VP, Treasurer and Chief Accountant at Google from 2007 to 2013. He also ran Google’s green energy investment portfolio. Brent held various roles at Microsoft from 1992 to 2007, where most recently he was CFO of the Platforms and Services Division. He also served as Microsoft’s Treasurer from 2000‐2004.
