How to Repair and Recover Corrupt/Deleted Images

1 - Rename the Image File

Step 1- Open the Windows Explorer by Pressing "Windows + E" button together.

Step 2- Go to the location where your corrupted image files are stored.

Step 3- Right-click on the image file, and select "Rename" option, enter any different name for the

file and then press "Enter" button to save the change.

Step 4- Now right-click on the file, select "Open With" and then select any program to open the

image.

2 - Try to Open With MS Paint Application

Step 1- Press the "Windows" button from keyboard to open the Start screen of windows, type

"Paint" (without the quotations) and click "Paint" from the search results.

Step 2- Click on the "File" menu, and then click on "Open."

Step 3- Give the path where the corrupted JPEG file is stored.

Step 4- Select the image, and click on the "Open" button. If the image opens properly in Paint, then

your file is most probably not corrupted. Now save the file and try to open it with another program.
