PrincipalGKP has been a godsend for some of our very talented children, in that it provides the 'critical mass' of children who think outside the square. At GKP, these children realise that they are not 'odd', they just think differently from the norm and there are a lot of other children just like them. We have seen children blossom in self-confidence and self-awareness through this programme. They start to believe in themselves and their exciting futures.

PARENT…..but perhaps most important aspect was the general atmosphere of GKP in bringing together teachers and children with a passionate interest in learning and questioning new knowledge. This environment allows them to debate issues in a deep and thoughtful way, without the frustration of being held-back/or silenced in a class dominated by other children either lacking interest or motivation to apply themselves. The general impact of the GKP on our son has been tremendous.

CHILD…I never knew I was gifted until I went to GKP I just thought I was different, I didn't really fit in at school but I did at home, I guess my parents are gifted!!!

Anyway going to GKP was relief because I kind of found a niche. I was there for 3 years and it not only helped my academic achievement but also my confidence hugely. Feeling confident also made it easier to learn, as I was more relaxed. I learnt to laugh, and at myself too. I made friends, some I still have, which is pretty incredible and something when I was young I didn't think I wouldhave.

GKP also taught me to strive harder, not take the easy out which I had got into doing and still do a little sometimes. GKP I think also helped my regular school because my teachers found out more about how to teach kids like me. Being able to attend GKP was a positive thing in my life because it made me comfortable being me”
