Observation:We saw lots of bacteria on our hands.

Hypothesis:Things that people touch have more bacteria.

Prediction:We would see more bacteria on things that people touch a lot.

What did we do?:1.We swabbed things that people touch and things that people do not touch.2.We dipped a swab in water.3.We swabbed back and forth a spot as big as our pinkie finger.4.We rubbed the swab on a petri dish.5.We looked at our petri dishes after 2 days.

What did we see?We saw lots of bacteria.We saw more bacteria on the light switch, the computer keyboard, the Bulldog plaque and the dusty TV.

ConclusionThings that people touch a lot and things that are not cleaned have the most bacteria.
