Family Fun Night Wrap Up

Family Fun Night was a great success this year and could not have happened without the help of the following: Thank you to Fareway for donating the bottled water and to HyVee for donating cookies for the supper. Kudos to Wood's to Wedge's for bringing Golfzilla for lots of added excitement. Thank you to Secondy Story Promotions – Mike & Lisa Drinkall for donating the chapsticks. The PTO has been very busy this spring with lots of activities that wouldn't be possible without the

support of families and staff of Wilkins, so thank you. HyVee Receipts Great job on collecting HyVee receipts for the Cash 4 Students program this year. Wilkins will be receiving over $1200! HyVee has decided to continue this program next year, so start saving your receipts again May 1, 2013 to April 30, 2014. Box Tops Over $2200 has been received this year from Box Tops. We will be sending them in again at the end of the school year. Look for a summer challenge coming home soon. Play Station Thanks to all those who came out to play at the Play Station during spring break. Wilkins raised $85.21. Tomaso's Wilkins Night at Tomaso’s has brought in $313 to date. Keep it up! McTeacher Night Our 2nd Annual McTeacher Night brought in $350. Big thanks to the teachers and staff who volunteered their time that night and the families who came out to support Wilkins. Movie Night You didn’t have to be “Brave” to enjoy Wilkins Movie Night. We had a great turn out and collected 147 nonperishable food items. Everyone had a great time! UPCOMING EVENTS Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 PM – Please join us for the final PTO Meeting of the school year. Daycare is provided. Thursday, May 9 from 5:00-7:00 PM – Family Picnic and Art Show, 6:45 PM Mr. Sinnott and Mr. Mohwinkle will be receiving 3 pies each to the face. Sunday, May 19 at 2:05 PM – Wilkins Day at the Kernels Tuesday, May 21 – Tomaso's Night Saturday, July 27 from 7:15-8:45 PM Wilkins Pool Party at the Marion Pool.

Wilkins will be hosting Restaurant Days/Nights throughout the summer at some of your favorite places like Culver's, Granite City, Tomaso's, Parlor City Ice Cream, and Orange Leaf. Grab a bite to eat while supporting Wilkins! Look for more info at the end of the school year.
