“How’s that working for us?”• Feb. 19, 2010 – Received results

of the Committee on Fifth-Year Interim Report’s review of our QEP Impact Report. In a word: “Unacceptable”

• An additional report demonstrating the extent to which the QEP has affected outcomes related to student learning is due with the referral report.

• Follow-up Report is forwarded to C & R Committee for action that can include additional monitoring or negative action.

Problematic Issues: Insufficient linkage with

distinct student learning outcomes, assessment activities, and appropriate assessment measures.

Minimal improvement based upon the results of evaluation data.

Assessments appear to be class or activity-based rather than broad campus-wide assessment.

We have embraced the constructive criticism in the hopes that we will be able to put the pieces together and not only satisfy the requirements of SACS-COC, but participate successfully in our goal, which is….

…To improve student learning in both academic and non-academic environments by enhancing student engagement in the learning process.
