How does this flower relate to a poem? Poems and flowers are both nice to enjoy for themselves as they are. However, poems do have a deliberate organization:

1. (PETALS) - attract the reader (petals/sound devices, rhymes etc.), and 2. COLOR/FRAGRANCE – attract the reader some more (color/fragrance,

same as imagery) 3. STEM – structure that holds the poem together (meter and other

structures/stem).

If you appreciate the flower's beauty, you can increase your understanding of poetry and its elements even though they may seem difficult to understand at first.
