Motors

Due to the specific operating conditions in mining, motors being deployed have to fulfill high demands.

Explosion protected three-phase, asynchronous motors designed by BARTEC according to the

“flameproof enclosure” type of protection provide optimum preconditions for this kind of application.

They are particularly used in mining; gate roads as well as auxiliary ventilated mine openings.

Automation

Automation of the different operating processes marks far-reaching progress in the mining industry. The

logical advancement is a consistent networking with the end-to-end communication and control concept

developed by BARTEC. On the basis of the Profibus and Ethernet technology, components and complete

The process device DPM 4 optimises control if digital E/A-peripheral equipment

is used on a big scale.

32 DE/DA-ports which can be set up in groups of four either as intrinsically

safe input with or without supervised cables or as opto-coupler-output via the

PROFIBUS-M. Each activated DE/DA-port is displayed via a LED on the

LED-Board 8SX9012-0DB00. Cable defects at inputs with supervised cables

are displayed by means of flashing.

DA-ports can be connected with up to two relay devices 8SX9012-0BC20 and

with up to 16 relays for the decoupling of external intrinsically safe circuits.

The process device has three interfaces for connection of a quadruple spaced

(à 20 characters) LCD-display as well as two 4x5 plastic foil keyboards for the

features Operate and Observe.

Not every automation device can be connected to the

PROFIBUS.

Devices with a serial coupling according to BB 22444 are

widespread in mining.

The peripheral module DPM6 is a gateway for such control

systems and thus allows for the incorporation into complex

automation processes.

Either intrinsically safe or non-intrinsically safe couplers can be

realised.

Control equipment – medium voltage

Our medium-voltage control equipment operates transformers,

motors and special consumers in potentially explosive mine

openings. They can be supplied for the following voltage levels:

3,3kV, 5kV, 6kV and 10kV. They are characterized by

flameproof equipment compartment with central locking system terminal compartment in flameproof or increased safety standard enclosure with a volume of 540, 600 or 1000 litres special constructions on request

Control equipment – low voltage

Our low-voltage control equipment operates motors and special

consumers in potentially explosive mine openings in the area of

mining and heading. They can be supplied for the following voltage

levels: 500V and 1000V. They are characterized by:

Electronic units type NIMR-220, ZZS-500/1000, NZKT-1B and IZS-42B are used in enegetics systems
