Task:

The goal of the project “Bernburg Loop” is to develop a touristic route with a bike path that connects the city of Bernburg and river Saale with the northern rural region. Existing location qualities and touristic potentials as well as hidden points of interest are to be discovered and put into value. To develop a masterplan for the region GIS can be used for the analysis process, the impact assessment and the design process. The individual use of GIS (eg 2D, 3D, visability analysis) in the whole process should be described and documented in a report.

Data:

Datasets used in the studio.

Outputs: 1. Report of the individual GIS workflow in the different planning steps (Text as PDF). 2. One Poster with the results using GIS (e.g. analysis, assessment, design) in A0. Please send the results (report, poster) to [email protected] by September 29th 2017.
