David Livingstone was born on the 19th of March 1813 in Blantyre Glasgow.

He was a missionary, doctor and important explorer, and for many others a national hero.

He studied zoology,Biology and botanic.

A GREAT TRAVELL

During 8 years he travelled with William Cotton Oswell around the desert Kalahiri and he discovered the lake Ngami (1948).

THE VICTORIA FALLS

Between 1852-1856 he started the journey from the Atlantic ocean to the Indian ocean, discovering in 16-11-1855 the waterfall of Zambeze, which he named “Victoria falls” in honor of the queen of the United Kingdom.

The Victoria Falls is one of the seven wonder of the world.

THE END OF A HERO

David continued exploring, but in 1-5-1873 he died in Zambia, by Malaria.

His corpse was translated / body was sent to England, except his heart that the Africans wanted to buried/bury behind a tree in Africa because his heart was there, in Africa.
