Pagbasa: San Juan 2:13-22 Malapit na ang paskua ng mga Hudio at umahon si Hesus sa Herusalem. Nasumpungan niya sa templo ya-

ong nangagbibili ng mga baka at mga tupa at mga kalapati at ang mga mamamalit ng salapi na nakaupo.

Ginawa Niyang panghampas ang mga lubid at itinaboy niyang lahat sa templo ang mga tupa at gayon din ang mga baka at ibinubo niya ang salapi ng mga mamamalit at ginulo ang kanilang mga dulang at sa mga

nangagbibili ng mga kalapati ay pinagsabihan niyang alisin ang mga bagay na ito at huwag gawing bahay-

kalakal ang bahay ng ama.Naalala ng kaniyang mga alagad na nasusulat na kakanin nila ang pagsisisikap sa

kanilang bahay. Ang mga Hudio nga'y nagsisagot at sa kaniya'y sinabi, Anong tanda ang maipakikita mo sa

amin, yamang ginawa mo ang mga bagay na ito? Sumagot si Hesus at sa kanila'y sinabi, Gibain ninyo ang templong ito at aking itatayo sa loob ng tatlong araw. Sinabi nga ng mga Hudio, Apatnapu't anim na taon

ang pagtatayo ng templong ito, at itatayo Niya lamang sa loob ng tatlong araw?

Pagninilay: Ano ang nagpapanatili sa atin sa panig ng Diyos? Ang paglilinis ng Diyos sa templo ay nasaksihan ng kanyang

mga alagad. Ito ay nagpapahiwatig nang kabanal-banalang mensahe ng Diyos. Ang bagong tipan ay nagsasabi

sa atin na ang kuwentong ito ay salamin ng makalangit na tagpo sa templo ng Diyos. Ito rin ay nagpapatunay na nais ng Diyos na linisin natin ang ating mga kasalanan at mamuhay nang naayon sa kabutihan at kabanal

-banalan. Nais mo bang maging katuld ng pamumuhay ng Diyos?

Panalangin: Panginoong Hesus,buksan mo ang pintuan ng Diyos Ama at tulungan mo kaming makapasok sa Kanyang

kaharian. Tulungan Mo kaming sundan ang Iyong mga yapak. Amen.

Graduate Attribute: Confident In the course of establishing the Christian schools, De La Salle was met with severe opposition from members of his social class, family, the writing masters (paid teachers) and Church authorities. He was not even spared the betrayal and desertion of Brothers in whom he had placed great trust. Constantly in trouble, persecuted and insulted – De La Salle took great risks in his life. Even when he could have used his own wealth to support the fledgling schools, De La Salle chose rather to give up his wealth and entrust the schools to the providence of God. De La Salle saw the success of the schools as something dependent on the Fatherly care of God. He writes:

Be convinced that if you truly seek the kingdom of God and his justice, all these things will be given to you besides, because it is God himself who takes responsibility for the care to provide for you…The more you abandon yourself to God for what concerns your temporal needs, the more care he will take to provide for you. (Meditations) In a world where the ideal of self-sufficiency is upheld and one is prone to rely on money and material goods for success, the Lasallian is challenged to place his confidence rather in the goodness and graciousness of God. It is this faith in God that enables him to look upon his talents and abilities as gifts and his limitations with honesty.
