DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Quality Management:

Co-coordinating all Inspection(s) with the Sub-Contractor and client at site. Vendor inspection with TPI and client inspector Preparation of ITP and QCP , Material approval request Prepare detailed records and reports for all Inspection(s) conducted at site, and maintain

the Quality Control System/Documentation. Establish and conduct regular Quality Control meeting with the Sub-contractor and

Clients. Correlate, prepare and issue the Field Inspection Notice to the Client and co-ordination. Co-ordinate and conduct Inspection(s) with any third party agencies wherever required. Maintain all relative Site Inspection(s) records, for handing over to Client upon attaining

completion. Conduct Inspection(s) and coordinate on materials or equipment’s when requested by the

Material controller wherever applicable. Establish QA/QC system as per the contract and standards for welding of structural,

piping , Tankage etc including required Destructive/Nondestructive tests wherever required.

Co-coordinating internally to ensure correct communication exist and maintained between Client and Sub agencies.

Responsible for the overall Quality Assurance & Control and material inspection coordination of all the construction activities at site

Responsible for all Inspection(s) at site, including witnessing, recording and reporting the results and resolving problems arising.

Project Co-Ordination:

Identifying process and non-process scope and designing the System, Subsystems to facilitate mechanical completion and system handover

Monitoring the progress in inspection records closeout and documentation of the same towards mechanical completion packages

Punch List co-ordination with all discipline supervisors/Engineers to execute the work as per the contact scope of work and closure of the same with client representatives.

Preparation of commissioning dossier and following the same for client approval Monitoring progress of Red mark-up as per site condition, Co-ordination of the same

with design consultant and client for approval. Headed Project dossier team starting from indexing till final submission for approval

Material:

Familiar with the inspection and certification requirements of the vendor supplied Instruments, Valves, Piping materials, Equipment’s

Coordination with the client for approval of vendor’s documents, Procedures and ITP Review of FAT reports, material test certificates, purchase order, data and reports for

compliance with client requirementsWelding:

Familiar with the fabrication requirements of cladded pipe, Inconel , Carbon steel, Low Temperature Carbon Steel, Stainless steel etc…

Familiar with the Fabrication and welding of Clean Class piping, cladded piping Witnessing Roughness test, tape test Boroscopic visual inspection etc for the clean class

Welding Process: SMAW,SAW, FCAW,GTAW,ORBITAL welding Proposing WPS based on the scope and requirements of the project Planning & Execution of PQR in accordance with client requirements Planning & Execution of Welder Performance test in accordance with client approved WPS. Monitoring of welder performance, welding repair rates and advice corrective actions as

required. Ensure all necessary NDT requirements, PMI, ferrite PWHT requirements are fulfilled. Identifying non-conformance, observations through QC Inspectors/Supervisors and reporting

to concern departments heads, site in charges. Preparation of test pack prior to hydro test line check and punch list Preparation and updating of master punch list Preparation of final handover documentation, & MCC

NDT Inspections: Radiographic Film Interpretation and other NDT Interpretations to relevant acceptance

criteria. Monitoring NDT process for Compliance with approved procedures. Co-ordination with Inspectors, Technicians, Site Supervisor to enhance the in time and

proper execution of NDT activities.Painting:

Assess the condition of the substrate prior to start blast cleaning and painting activities. Monitoring blast cleaning activities to comply with the relevant standard. Ensure surface cleanliness and amplitude prior to coating application. Witness and inspect each coat of Paint application. Measure WFT /DFT requirement as per the relevant standard and specification. Examine Coating Defects and suggests the remedial action Conduct holiday test as per the project specification Ensure the Work has been accomplished as per the Specification set by the client. Prepare daily reports and documents for future reference and handover to the client

upon the completion of the Project Monitoring loading and offloading of shop coated pipes/fittings to prevent handling

damages Witnessing of destructive test like dolly test , Cathodic disbandment test , peel test , hot
