The market share of textiles certified under the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 has increased steadily in recent years. Because it enjoys such a high level of recognition and has such a broad impact, the OEKO-TEX® certificate has become an excellent marketing tool and is often required by retailers in their terms of delivery.

Help in choosing OEKO-TEX® compliant textile auxiliaries, chemicals and preparations is available in the form of the Eco-Passport. Based on independent laboratory testing, this confirms whether auxiliaries are safe from the human ecology point of view, and so offers users additional security. It also means that any problems with obtaining OEKO-TEX® certification for the finished products due to the entry of harmful substances in auxiliaries, or to inadequate colourfastness, can largely be avoided.

The catalogue of tests for the Eco-Passport for textile auxiliaries therefore perfectly complements the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
